This vibrant community is conveniently located in the heart of Maryborough. To offer a more personal living experience, it’s divided into small households, with comfortable shared spaces and Carers who get to know you well. The outdoor spaces offer the simple pleasures of a backyard with established gardens, walking paths and courtyards.

Groundwater Lodge
Located in Granville, Groundwater Lodge is a peaceful homestead set on leafy acreage. Divided into small households, this tranquil community has private resident suites that open onto covered patios. Our recently refurbished Bottlebrush Household has been inspired by country homes, and our specialist memory support household cares for residents with advanced dementia care needs.

We support you to find comfort, enjoyment and meaning in your daily life. Our resident-driven Lifestyle Program includes a range of interesting activities and outings, and we’ll help you maintain your valued family and community connections. Residents are welcome to attend on-site Church services and receive pastoral support.
Everyday spaces
Yaralla Place and Groundwater Lodge are divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home. There are welcoming lounge and dining spaces and the familiar features of a traditional backyard, like courtyards, flower beds and established trees. Your light-filled, private room can be furnished and decorated as you like, so it feels like a master bedroom.
Everyday home cooking
When it comes to food, there’s plenty of choice – just like home. Everything is freshly made in our own kitchens, and our nutritious, seasonal menus offer variety and family favourites. You can choose to join your neighbours for meals in our dining rooms, or enjoy them in the privacy of your own suite.

We’re working hard to support Yaralla Place and Groundwater Lodge to continue to evolve and thrive, while preserving what makes them so special. Together with the wider community, we’re building a sustainable future for aged care in the Maryborough so locals can choose to remain living here as they age.

Yaralla Place and Groundwater Lodge are located in the heritage town of Maryborough, in the beautiful Fraser Coast region of Queensland. Both communities have a long history of caring for locals, and they continue to enjoy close ties with the Presbyterian Church and churches of other denominations.
